Let’s Talk Fruit Platters!

Posted by Didi Gorman on

Fruit platters are perfect for:
- Playdates
- School parties
- INSTEAD OF birthday cakes (yup, keep reading)

What’s great about a fruit platter is that it’s almost effortless and you can’t really go wrong with it.

It’s fresh, fruity, and naturally sweet.

Any fruit is welcome on a fruit platter.

It’s important the fruit is ripe and appealing.

Strawberries, grapes, raspberries, blackberries, blueberries, raisins and cherries are bite-size and do not require peeling.

See the pictures?

These are tried-and-true fruit platters served on our children’s birthdays instead of cake. They were all gone in less than 5 minutes!

If this is a birthday party, you can make one large platter for several people, individual bowls, or a combination of both: an individual bowl for the birthday person and a large platter for the rest of the family.

Special equipment: none

Preps: a few minutes
Serves: variable

You will need:
A selection of ripe and appealing fruit (cut up into bite-size, if needed)

How to make it:

Place fruit on a tray/platter/bowl in any design you like.

Go enjoy your fruit platter, and I will take this opportunity to wish you a fantastic weekend!
