Homemade Strawberry Nectar with No Added Sugar

onLooks posh, doesn’t it?
You’re not going to believe how simple this treat is. It only has one ingredient – blended fresh strawberries.
I don’t add any water, as I don’t want to dilute the silky texture and the lively flavor of the fresh fruit.
Neither do we add sugar or any other sweetener. We just let our taste buds enjoy the exquisite natural sweetness of the fruit as-is.
This tried-and-true endeavor resulted in some loud slurping around the dining table and a young girl boasting a red moustache…
Sweetened by: fruit only
Special equipment: stick blender/blender
Preps: 2 minutes
Serves: 1
You will need:
One strawberry with green crown, slit at the bottom
A handful fresh strawberries, stems removed
How to make it:
1. Set the slit strawberry aside. Blend all the rest of the strawberries and pour into a see-through glass.
2. Place slit strawberry on top of the glass. Serve cold.
Did you know?
Blended fruit often tastes sweeter than the wholesome fruit. How come? Perhaps due to the release of the fruit’s natural juices or to the exposure of more fruit surface to our taste buds per bite.
Enough talking, let’s sip! And I will take this opportunity to wish you a beautiful weekend,
Didi
