Homemade Marzipan Spread in 1 Minute

This homemade marzipan is so good, I can just gobble it up by the spoonful.
As opposed to commercial snow-white marzipans, ours is brown. That’s because the main ingredient here is almond butter which is made of crushed almonds.
If you use an unopened jar of almond butter, you may want to mix the almond butter prior to using it in the recipe, so that you get an even consistency (not too solid, not too oily).
Preps: 1 minute
Makes: 1⁄4 cup
You will need:
1⁄4 cup unsweetened and unsalted almond butter
1⁄2 tbsp. honey (or to taste)
1⁄4 tsp. pure almond extract (or to taste)
1⁄4 tsp. pure vanilla extract (or to taste)
How to make it:
In a small bowl mix all ingredients using a teaspoon, till well-combined. You may want to use two teaspoons to help with the mixing since the spread is very sticky. Keep refrigerated.
Optional: For firmer texture freeze the spread.
Go enjoy this delightful treat, and I will wish you a most lovely day,
Didi
