Frozen Grapes instead of Ice Cubes
Posted by
onSee the grapes in the picture?
I know you couldn’t tell, but they’re actually frozen and serve as ice cubes in a glass of water. Isn’t this just awesome?
They remain intact and retain their shape and color (unlike some other fruits which fall apart while freezing).
Frozen grapes add chill to any beverage – a refreshing bliss on a hot day.
I am indebted to my two daughters, who -as with many of my fruit recipes- inspired this one while experimenting with freezing fresh fruit and adding it to their water.
There’s no need for a recipe today. All we need is a handful of grapes which we’ll freeze for about 2 hours.
Simple and exquisite.
If you like experimenting with fresh fruit (I do!) I have many other fruit recipes, including orange & mango ice cubes as well as berry ice cubes in my book Fresh Fruit Anyone? in the link below.
I will take this opportunity to wish you a lovely weekend,
Didi
