Homemade Watermelon Juice

Is it true that watermelon is 92 percent water?
I heard someone say it’s actually 97 percent, while others argue it’s ‘only’ 90 percent water.
Truth is, I have no idea, but the juice you see in the picture is the ultimate proof that watermelon has loads and loads of water!
Without further ado, let’s sluuuurp!
Sweetened by: fruit only
Special equipment: stick blender/blender
Preps: 5 minutes (optional fridge time: 30 minutes)
Makes: 3 quarts
You will need:
1 fairly large watermelon, without seeds
How to make it:
1. Cut the watermelon open and scoop out the pulp (without the seeds). You will notice leftover ‘juice’ at the bottom of the watermelon.
2. Add the leftover juice to the pulp and blend.
3. Serve, or refrigerate for 30 minutes. Stir before serving.
I wonder if I could freeze some as homemade fruit freezies… Ooh, yummy!
Go enjoy your exquisite juice, and I’ll take the opportunity to wish you a wonderful weekend and a juicy watermelon!
