A Word on Men for Father’s Day

This post is a little different than usual, because I have different jobs for you today depending on whether you're a male or a female reader.

If you’re a male reader – sit back, relax, and enjoy the following lines. Our post today is dedicated to you.

If you’re a female reader – let’s get to work!

We’ll use the opportunity that it’s Father’s Day today and think about all the wonderful, impressive, hard-working, inspiring MEN we have in our lives.

Of course, our lives are equally filled with impressive women, but our focus today is on our male counterparts. 

Fathers, brothers, sons, husbands, boyfriends, uncles, grandfathers, neighbours, friends, cousins, co-workers, peers, teammates, roommates - it’s all about them today.

Ladies, here’s our task:
Let’s think of one (or more) male person, whose very presence in our lives is a gift, and who’s a source of joy and inspiration for us.

Our job today is to cherish the thought of having that person in our lives.

I’ve been blessed with a fantastic dad -who’s watching us from heaven, a loving husband, and a wonderful son, as well as with awesome male co-workers and peers whose kindness and dedication never cease to amaze me.

I could fill pages upon pages singing the praise of these remarkable men, but instead, I’ll summarize my thoughts in one sentence: I’m blessed to have them in my life.

It’s with this spirit of gratitude that I’m wishing you and all the dads, brothers, and boyfriends out there- Happy Father’s Day!
